USF’s Alex Golesh calls out untrue Arkansas report, only to wind up at Auburn instead
1+ hour, 27+ min ago (285+ words) The post USF's Alex Golesh calls out untrue Arkansas report, only to wind up at Auburn instead appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Arkansas search for a new head coach put Alex Golesh squarely in the rumor mill. After Sam Pittman's firing and a 2-9 Razorbacks season, multiple reports framed the USF football team coach as the favorite in Fayetteville, pointing to his rapid rebuild in Tampa and SEC ties from his Tennessee days. Publicly, though, nothing was confirmed, and Golesh kept coaching a Bulls team that surged to a nine-win regular season and blowout wins over UAB and Rice. Right after USF's 52-3 demolition of Rice, Golesh was asked directly about a report that had effectively labeled him "the next Arkansas coach." Speaking to reporters, he pushed back hard, saying the story did not come from him and was simply not true, as…...

7+ hour, 46+ min ago (1339+ words) BARTON COUNTY " The problem sounds easy: Kansas has too few houses for sale, especially in small, rural communities struggling to attract young people and new businesses. The simple answer is to build more houses. But those in real estate say this shortage has been years in the making, and it may take years and creative thinking to emerge from it. "We've been under-building for decades," said Mark Tomb, vice president of governmental affairs for the Kansas Association of Realtors. "We're just not building enough homes." If all goes as planned, efforts in Barton County may offer a blueprint. The county commission has tapped economic development funds and other resources to help housing developments in three communities. "If we were to announce one housing development in one city, it would be a big deal," Commissioner Shawn Hutchinson said. "In this case,…...

On the offensive game plan:" On the impact of the weather and conditions:" "It was just kind of a nasty day. It got a little colder in the second half, but it was a little bit wetter than you wanted it to be. We're trying to throw a screen, so your quarterbacks just going to try to catch and get the ball out quick to have the laces, and obviously that was an issue. And then our, you know, our snaps, we mumbled that up twice." On Beau Pribula's performance:" "Thought he did a really good job of getting us into the right plays, the right situations. He played well enough for us to win. And you know, that's what he's got to do. For him, being able to…...
